CONFIRMED for Concours of Elegance 2025: 1932 Aston Martin LM8 We're delighted that our show this September will feature this 1932 Aston Martin LM8 competition car. It dates from a significant moment for the brand, a time when it was intent on renewing its motorsport offering. It was one of just three "second series" Works racing cars built by Aston Martin in 1932. These cars – LM8, LM9, and LM10 – featured numerous improvements overseen by Augustus "Bert" Bertelli, Aston Martin's designer and, unusually, also its works racing driver. LM8 is particularly significant as the winner of the prestigious Rudge Whitworth Cup at Le Mans in 1932. It will be on show at Hampton Court Palace from the 5th-7th September. This wonderful 1967 AC 428 Frua Spyder Prototype, will be appearing at our sister event, @london_concours, which runs in the heart of the city from the 3rd-5th June. Combining a slice of Italian style and elegance with British sports car excellence, the 1967 AC 428 Frua Spyder was compared to the brand’s signature model by media at the time, described as “…a Cobra in an Italian suit”. Chassis number CF3 will join the ‘Legendary AC Cars’ class at this year’s London Concours, and is one of just three prototypes to remain in existence, and the only to have a manual gearbox.
