Exceptional art. Extraordinary automobiles. At this year's Concours of Elegance, our partner Chubb presents four remarkable automotive icons, alongside a curated selection of works by Banksy from Optima Contemporary. In celebration of 100 years of Mercedes-Benz, a pristine Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing joins us. One of the most iconic models ever produced, the 300 SL is a timeless testament to automotive history and design. It is joined by the Aston Martin Valour, one of just 110 ever made and presented here in the rare Andromeda Red; the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, a formidable blend of Formula 1 heritage and grand touring luxury, representing the ultimate collaboration between two automotive giants and a true 21st-century icon; and the Ford GT Mk IV, one of only 67 ever built, producing over 800 horsepower and 2,400 pounds of downforce, with a direct lineage to the 1967 Le Mans-winning GT40 Mk IV. Alongside these exceptional cars, Optima Contemporary presents a curated selection of works by one of the 21st century's most influential and recognisable artists. From the iconic Flower Thrower Triptych to the rare (fr)agile and the powerful Stop Sign, the collection explores Banksy's instantly recognisable and culturally significant work. Visit the Chubb enclosure at Concours of Elegance to discover these extraordinary cars and works of art in person.
From the Benz Patent Motor Car to modern Maybach luxury, @mercedesbenzuk will showcase an extraordinary selection at Concours of Elegance 2026. The display will span more than a century of automotive history, featuring the pioneering Benz Patent Motor Car alongside some of the marque’s most distinctive and prestigious models. Among the highlights will be the rare 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc Roadster, one of just 53 produced, and a unique 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing with a one-off factory specification. The display will also feature the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series ‘Red Ambience’ and a highly personalised Mercedes-Benz S 500 4MATIC Saloon Long Wheelbase finished through the Manufaktur Made to Measure programme. Together, the cars offer a fascinating look at Mercedes-Benz across the decades, from the invention of the automobile to contemporary luxury and bespoke personalisation.
