A brand-new C-Type by Ecurie Ecosse pays homage to the legendary racing car. Victorious in its very first race in 1952, the original Ecurie Ecosse C-Type went on to a have spectacular racing career, with 59 podium places secured across the seven Jaguar C-Type chassis raced by the Scottish national team. Today they commemorate their past successes by manufacturing a new ‘sister’ C-Type to honour each of the seven cars. We were proud to host the reveal of the Ecurie Ecosse LM69 at Concour of Elegance in 2019 and will hopefully meet the C-Type in the future (Pic credit: Ecurie Ecosse) #ecurieecosse #ctype

Sharing great news from @goodingandcompany and their amazing auction results from 2020, in part thanks to the Passion of a Lifetime sale held at last year’s Concours of Elegance. Gooding & Co. sold five of the top 10 most valuable cars across all auction houses last year, including the top two single car sales: the 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports and 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante, which were both sold at our event at Hampton Court Palace last September. The Type 59 Sports was also the highest selling car of 2020 and the most expensive Bugatti ever sold at public auction (Pic credit: Gooding & Co. / Patrick White) #concoursofelegance #classiccarauction #bugatti
