A. Lange & Söhne DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN “Hampton Court Edition” Auctioned in aid of King’s Trust
A unique Concours of Elegance themed A. Lange & Söhne timepiece, the DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN “Hampton Court Edition”, has been auctioned for charity by Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, at the Geneva Watch Auction XX.
The special watch achieved an outstanding price of CHF 825,500 (EUR 877,919, incl. buyer’s premium) at the auction on 9 November 2024, with all proceeds going to The King’s Trust, our long-standing charity partner.
The King’s Trust, formerly known as The Prince’s Trust, was founded by His Majesty King Charles III, and is dedicated to supporting young people aged 11 to 30. It is focused on empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to prepare for future career opportunities, and to ultimately have a brighter future.
The DATOGRAPH UP/DOWN “Hampton Court Edition” was created by our event’s presenting partner, A. Lange & Söhne, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the renowned DATOGRAPH model, marking the milestone with a special contribution to a meaningful cause.
The unique timepiece in white gold, with a grey dial and black subsidiary dials, was first presented at our show at Hampton Court Palace earlier this year. It was subsequently showcased in New York, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Geneva.
