Record-Breaking Opening Day Delivers Spectacular Start to Concours of Elegance 2025
The Concours of Elegance, presented by A. Lange & Söhne, has had a triumphant opening to its 2025 edition, with the Owners’ & VIP Day setting new attendance records and providing guests with an unparalleled automotive spectacle at Hampton Court Palace.
Friday’s exclusive preview day witnessed 75 of the world’s finest privately owned motor cars – spanning more than a century of automotive progress – individually presented to captivated audiences throughout the day. The unique format of driving each concours car to the main stage provided guests with the rare opportunity to see these automotive treasures in motion, and to hear their remarkable stories.
Under the expert commentary of world-renowned compères Richard Charlesworth and Peter Wallman, each vehicle was introduced, with fascinating insights into their provenance, technical innovations and historical significance. The day’s programme also featured the prestigious Specialist Showcase, offering guests an exclusive introduction to some of the UK’s greatest specialist dealers.
