Alfa Romeo Owners Club to Showcase Iconic 1960s and 70s Classics at Concours of Elegance 2026

The Alfa Romeo Owners Club will bring a spectacular display of Italian style and engineering to this year’s Concours of Elegance, with 15 carefully selected classics celebrating one of the marque’s most celebrated eras.

The club’s stand will feature an impressive collection of Alfa Romeos from the 1960s and 1970s. Alongside a beautiful 1962 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider and an early Giulietta Spider, the display will be dedicated to the legendary 105 Series, showcasing a variety of GT Coupés, Berlina saloons and Spider models that defined Alfa Romeo’s sporting reputation during the period.

Among the highlights will be a striking 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV with a remarkable story of reunion. Imported from Italy in 2000 after spending its entire life with one family in Milan, the car underwent a meticulous restoration to concours standard while retaining its original character, including its beautifully preserved interior with just the right amount of patina.

After winning the Alfa Romeo Owners Club Concours in 2008, the owner reluctantly sold the car following a house move and lack of garage space. Sixteen years later, a chance sighting on the back page of Octane magazine led to an emotional reunion, with the owner buying back the very same car. Remarkably, it had covered just 8,500 miles since its engine rebuild in 2005 and remained in virtually identical condition.

Visitors to the Alfa Romeo Owners Club display at Concours of Elegance on Saturday Septmeber 5th will have the opportunity to explore an exceptional selection of cars that capture the design and unmistakable character that have made Alfa Romeo one of Italy’s most enduring automotive icons.
