Celebrating the Art of the Italian Berlinetta

The Concours of Elegance is delighted to celebrate the Italian berlinetta with a new award for 2026: The Finest Italian Berlinetta.

The award brings together a selection of Italian sporting coupes spanning more than seven decades, showcasing the variety of designs and marques that make up this distinctive category.

Among the cars competing for the award are the 1953 Siata 208 CS Balbo Coupe, 1958 Ferrari 250 GT TdF, 1960 Maserati 3500 GT, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC,1964 ATS 2500 GTS, 1968 Lamborghini 400 GT and 1982 Maserati Khamsin.

From Siata and ATS to Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini, the selection brings together some of Italy’s most recognisable sporting marques. The cars also span a particularly interesting period, from the 1950s through to the 1980s, allowing the award to celebrate different approaches to the Italian berlinetta across the decades.

The 1958 Ferrari 250 GT TdF and 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 represent two very different moments in Ferrari’s history, while the Maserati 3500 GT and Khamsin demonstrate the marque’s contribution to the category. Elsewhere, the Siata 208 CS Balbo Coupe and ATS 2000 GT add further variety to the field.

With such a varied selection of Italian berlinettas gathered together at the 2026 Concours of Elegance, The Finest Italian Berlinetta promises to be a closely contested new award.

The winning car will be revealed at the Concours of Elegance 2026.
